We also provide entertainment at
· Private Members Clubs and Masonic Functions. These are most usually Ladies Nights at the various Masonic Lodges and Halls in the South Yorkshire area.
For the corporate customer we also provide the same for promotions and in store events.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM EXCELSIOR ENTERTAINMENTS ?
All our Staff are friendly, honest, reliable and approachable, they are also open to suggestion on how your party can be enhanced or improved once they arrive e.g if the volume is too loud or if the location of the equipment causes discomfort to you or your guests.
WHAT MUSIC DO WE HAVE OR PLAY ? - DISCO
We have over 3,500 music tracks from the 50’s to the current charts and many more to choose from so each and every disco can be suited to a particular taste whether it be a family occasion that warrants hits and memories from all decades to a specific genre such as a theme night.
It is of course advisable to ring us before to confirm any particular tracks you would like to hear, that way this avoids any disappointment on your part, after all no DJ can carry every single song or album track that as ever been produced.
WHAT MUSIC DO WE HAVE OR PLAY ? - KARAOKE
Our current (complete) Karaoke catalogue consists of over 7,740 tracks. The Karaoke books are arranged alphabetically in both song title and artist/s order and we have all the classics from Tom Jones and Gloria Gaynor up to and including the best that today’s charts have to offer.
Please be aware that although we have a complete catalogue of over 7,740 tracks they are for various reasons not all listed in the books that we carry. If you cannot see your song/s in the books this doesnot mean that we don’t have it with us, please ask the karaoke host.
Unlike other Karaoke firms we do not count “double copies” of songs i.e the same song by the same artist/s listed more than once to boost our catalogue and give a false impression - although they may not be listed they are available on a master list to the karaoke host if one or more version/s is damaged.
We at Excelsior Entertainments pride ourselves in being able to offer a wide range of musical tastes where our Disco and Karaoke bookings are concerned and although we may not be the biggest firm in the Barnsley area we pride ourselves on our professionalism.
HOW MUCH DO WE CHARGE ?
This is always the part of the booking that is enquired about the most and we’d like to highlight a few notes so that you as the customer may wish to weigh up when making your decision to book with us.
Customers may often and may well choose the lowest quote when looking to buy or rent a new service or product and why not after all we all love a good bargain. However, from experience the lowest quote does not always ensure the highest service. Remember, there are cowboys in every business.
Therefore, when you are ringing round and collecting various quotes all we ask of you is to consider these questions when calling other firms.
1. Do they have public liability insurance in case you or your guests are injured by their equipment?
2. Do they have PAT tested equipment and the relevant paperwork?
3. Do they confirm your booking in writing?
and although you may think this an odd question to ask a DJ you would be sorely surprised
1. Do they own, carry and talk on a Microphone or do they just turn up and play music?
